WHY THE PRICE DIFFERENCE?

  • Choose cheaper, lower-GSM shirts for one-time events, promotional giveaways, casual layering, or high-volume custom merch where upfront cost is the priority.

  • Choose premium, higher-GSM shirts for everyday wear, long-term durability, retail apparel brands, or a structured, heavyweight streetwear look.

Shirt price differences are largely driven by fabric weight, measured in GSM (Grams per Square Meter). Here is a quick breakdown of how it impacts cost:

  • Low GSM (Under 150 GSM): These are lightweight, breathable fabrics (like sheer cotton or basic tees). They require less raw material to produce, making them the most affordable option.

  • Medium GSM (150–200 GSM): This is the industry standard for everyday t-shirts. They offer a balanced mix of durability, comfort, and moderate pricing.

  • High GSM (200+ GSM): Often referred to as heavyweight, streetwear, or luxury tees, these use significantly more cotton yarn per shirt. The higher material volume, combined with a denser, premium feel and longer lifespan, drives up the price.

Note: Beyond just the weight of the cotton, higher GSM shirts often use higher-grade fibers (like combed or ring-spun cotton) and sturdier construction, further increasing the overall cost of production.
